1. The Android VpnService and Your Privacy

NetBlock Shield relies on the Android VpnService API to function as an on-device firewall. To comply with Google Play Developer Policies, we explicitly declare the following regarding our use of this service:

• Local Operation Only: The VPN interface created by NetBlock Shield is entirely local (a loopback interface). It does not connect to any external, remote, or third-party VPN servers.
• No Traffic Redirection: Your internet traffic is never tunneled, routed, or forwarded to our servers or any outside entity.
• No Payload Inspection: We do not monitor, inspect, log, or record the contents of your web traffic, DNS requests, or application data payloads. The app simply drops network packets for apps you have explicitly blocked.
• No Data Monetization: Because we do not collect your network data, we do not—and cannot—sell or share your traffic data with third parties.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

NetBlock Shield operates on a "zero-knowledge" architecture. We do not require, collect, or store:

• Personal Identifiable Information (Names, email addresses, phone numbers).
• Account creation credentials.
• Location data (GPS or IP-based).
• Browsing history or app usage telemetry.

3. Local Device Permissions and Data Processing

To provide core functionality, the app requests specific on-device permissions. The data accessed via these permissions never leaves your device:

• `QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES` (App Inventory): NetBlock Shield requires this permission to retrieve a list of installed applications and system services on your device. This allows you to select which specific apps to block or allow. This app list is processed strictly in your device's local memory and is never transmitted online.
• Local Storage: Your firewall rules, custom schedules, LAN access preferences, and App Lock security PINs are stored securely in local encrypted preferences on your device.

4. Third-Party Analytics and Crash Reporting

We may utilize standard, privacy-compliant developer tools (such as Google Play Core or Firebase Crashlytics) exclusively to monitor application stability.

• If the app crashes, anonymous diagnostic data (such as device model, Android OS version, and crash stack traces) may be logged.
• This diagnostic data contains no personal information and cannot be linked to your local firewall rules or identity.

5. User Control and Data Deletion

Because all your data is stored locally, you maintain absolute control over it. You can instantly delete all data, rules, and PINs associated with NetBlock Shield by clearing the app's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the application.

NetBlock Shield is designed to block internet access for specific applications chosen by the user. By blocking an application, you understand and agree that the blocked app will lose internet connectivity. This may result in:

• Missed or delayed notifications (e.g., messages, emails, alerts).
• Failure of background synchronization and cloud backups.
• Inability to access online content or multiplayer features within blocked games or apps.

2. System Apps Warning

NetBlock Shield provides the option to block OS-level preinstalled system apps and services. Blocking critical system components can result in device instability, failure to receive system updates, or unexpected behavior. You assume all risks associated with blocking system applications.

3. Limitation of Liability

NetBlock Shield is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. NetGram IT Solutions LLP shall not be held liable for any data loss, missed communications, system instability, or financial losses (including data overage charges) resulting from the use, configuration, or failure of the firewall rules set within the application.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our application or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code.

You agree not to use NetBlock Shield in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations. You are solely responsible for configuring the firewall rules safely and appropriately for your device.

5. Termination
